Getting ready to head south for the Ojai wine festival this Sunday, we will have a very little bit of the new '07 viognier and a lot of the '05 zin and syrah. Should be a very nice day on the shore of Lake Casitas. Hope to see some familiar faces.
Around here we have the fields bailed up, dots of hay are arranged neatly in rows waiting to be picked up and stacked. The girls are having fun pushing them over much to the farmers dislike.
Top windows are in the winery and the pine roof and wood are being stained. The cement patio will be poured in the next couple of days. Weather is cooperating too, very mild temperatures here are great for everyone. Lastly, I think we have seen our last goat birth for the year. That brings the total to six new babes.
